We learnt more about the aviation history of the Singapore Changi Airport. At this station pupils learnt about the 'passenger traffic' at the airports. We also learnt some facts about how animals travel on board flights and how food in aeroplanes is prepared.
At this station, we learnt about some of the wonders of the world at the "Changi Wonders of the World" display. We also learnt about the Singapore icon, 'Merlion'.

We were challenged with mathematical questions in this station. We learnt how to calculate the cost of taking a shuttle from the airport to the city. We learnt about the dos and don’ts of riding the T3 slide. We also learnt about the concept of recycling. We also used our IPhones to record our group’s reflections about this trip.
In this station we had alot of fun as we got to relax and do a girl's favourite pastime:SHOPPING!

5. Food served on the planes do not get spoilt easily because Food is prepared 360 minutes in advance. The food is rapidly chilled to 4 degrees Celsius to prevent bacteria from growing on it. It is loaded cold onto the aircraft to maintain its freshness.

1. Christian Moeller is an artist who designed the fiberglass propeller, Daisy .

Changi Wonders of the World (Departure Hall, Level 2)
While we were there we saw some angry birds sculptures.....
and thought that they were very cute
The Sydney Opera House in Australia was designed by John Utzon, a Danish man.
It serves as a performing arts centre.This landmark is regarded as one of the greatest architectural masterpieces of the 20th century. The Taj Mahal is found in Agra, India. It is a monument of love. This landmark, which is made of white marble, was built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife . The grandeur and rich beauty of the Taj makes it one of the most amazing attractions in the world.
The Great Pyramid of Giza is found in Egypt .This monument, also known as the Pyramid of Khufu, is the oldest and larget pyramid. It is the oldest seven wonders of the world.
The Eiffel Tower is found in Paris, France , 1889 It is the tallest structure in the country and is visible from many spots around Paris.
The Merlion is a mythical creature with a head of a lion and the body of a fish .
It is a symbol of Singapore , formerly known as Temasek.

The sculpture depicts a dragon . This animal is the featured animal this year according to the Chinese calendar.

Every ton of recycled paper will save 17 trees. Recycling efforts at Singapore Changi Airport have seen 6 399 kg of paper and 101 296 kg of carton boxes recycled annually.
Recycling plastic saves twice as much energy as burning it an incinerator.Plastic is made from oil which is a non-renewable resource.

Art Wood Block Printing (Basement 2, next to Pasta Mania)
In this section we had alot of fun as this was the station which we did not have to study or anything in it
